Empowering you by providing guidance & support to help navigate the
aging process with dignity and a sense of control.
Thank you for being here! My name is Mallory, I am a Certified End-of-Life Doula. I am passionate about guiding my clients and their families through the aging process. I'm here to make sure that your transition is smooth, graceful and filled with dignity.
I believe that every individual has the right to age with dignity. End-of-life planning allows for an invaluable sense of control by empowering individuals to make decisions about their care and beyond, ensuring their wishes are respected and honored.
My approach is centered around helping my clients & their loved ones by offering practical support & planning, addressing emotional and spiritual needs, while fostering a compassionate and dignified experience. I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients.
Yes, I offer both! My goal is to make this as convenient and comfortable for you as possible.
We start with a 30-minute phone consult, free of cost to you, during this phone call a care plan is established, this includes specifications on what services you or your loved one would like to receive from "Your Journey Home". Some of the most common services include Organizing an "End-of-Life Action Plan" (funeral arrangements, burial arrangements, ensuring final wishes are met & more), Creating legacy projects, Sound Therapy, Journaling on behalf of the client, Respite, Vigil sittings, Mentoring and guiding on an emotional & spiritual level, Grief support & resources for family for up to 7 days after passing.
Please refer to the services page. Services are available as a package or an hourly rate.
Honorable Mention- Having an End-of-Life Doula is considered a "final expense", for many people this is an expense that is justifiable due to the imperative guidance and support that is provided.
I work hand-in-hand with Hospice & Palliative care. Each service provides it's own set of benefits, each very special and necessary for the aging/end-of-life transition. While Hospice and Palliative care focus on medical and comfort care, I focus on practical and social emotional care. As an End-of-Life Doula, I am here to help my clients organize end of life affairs, create an open line of communication to healthcare providers/hospice/family and to provide compassionate care.
Wanting to stay a step ahead? You're never too young to start planning! I offer my services to anyone who is wanting assistance with End-of-Life planning. This could look like, home downsizing, legal & financial resources, advocacy at doctors' appointments, creating wills, assigning advance care directives, preparing legacy projects, journaling on your behalf, if you have lost the ability to write as well as you once did.
My services are for all ages of people. Death does not discriminate.
As an End-of-Life Doula, I am here to support the dying person AND their families.
